Simply Gifts – Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Simply Gifts’ services, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. Simply Gifts reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to stay updated.
2. Service Overview
Simply Gifts offers curated picnic experiences at various locations. Our services include setup, décor, and curated picnic items. Any additional or custom requests must be specified and approved at the time of booking.
Food and Beverages
– Client is responsible for food and beverage provision, unless specified otherwise.
-Simply gifts will only provide food and beverages that are listed on the picnic package that was chosen. Any other request will come at an additional cost.
– Simply Gifts can provide recommendations for catering services.
3. Bookings
- Booking Process: Reservations can be made through our website. A confirmation email will be sent after completing the booking process.
- Advance Booking Requirement: Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability.
- Deposit Requirement: A 50% non refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure your reservation.
4. Payments
- Full Payment: Full payment must be completed at least 1 week before the scheduled picnic date, or your reservation may be canceled.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit card or other specified online payment methods.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
At Simply Gifts, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, due to the nature of our business, we incur costs in preparing for your Event. Therefore, our cancellation policy is as follows:
- – More than 7 days prior to Event: 50% cancellation fee (deposit forfeited)
– Less than 1 week prior to Event: 100% cancellation fee (full payment forfeited)
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your picnic for another date if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability
- Your date may be rescheduled in the event of a sudden change in weather conditions. Provided that Simply gifts did not setup on the agreed date. Once the picnic is setup, there will be no refund and rescheduling.
- Kindly note, the snack board/food will be at the client’s expense for any rescheduling of date.
- A 20% rescheduling fee will be required from the client for simply gifts to confirm the rescheduling.
- Weather Conditions:
– Events will proceed unless severe weather conditions pose a safety risk.
– Client and Simply Gifts will discuss alternative arrangements.
-Simply gifts will not fully refund a client due to weather conditions. Kindly check the weather forecast before booking.
6. Code of Conduct
We expect all guests to maintain respectful behavior, cleanliness, and care for the provided equipment. Guests are responsible for:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the picnic area.
- Avoiding any misuse or damage to Simply Gifts’ property.
- Following all local regulations at the chosen picnic location.
- Let’s make the most of our 4-hour picnic! We understand you’re having a great time, but we need to start packing up soon to ensure we meet our other commitments. Wrap up by your picnic by the agreed time so we can stay on schedule.
Important: Candles are for decorative purposes only.
Please note that the candles provided are for aesthetic purposes and are not to be lit by clients. If you would like to have lit candles, kindly notify Simply Gifts in advance and arrangements can be made for an additional fee.
Any damages or violations may result in fees or additional charges.
In the event of any damage or loss, the Client agrees to:
- 1. Notify Simply Gifts immediately.
- 2. Pay for the repair or replacement of the damaged or lost item(s) at the current market value.
- 3. Reimburse Simply Gifts
Damages Include: Broken or damaged equipment (e.g., picnic baskets, utensils, glasses, umbrellas)
- Stained or damaged blankets or furniture
- Lost or stolen items
7. Liability
- Personal Property: Simply Gifts is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings.
- Health & Safety: Simply Gifts is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or health issues arising during the picnic experience.
- External Factors: Simply Gifts cannot be held responsible for disruptions due to weather, wildlife, or other uncontrollable elements.
8. Modifications and Amendments
Simply Gifts reserves the right to amend these terms as needed. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
